I do use lightroom as well. I import and batch edit in lightroom and then do fine adjustments in photoshop that aren't possible in lightroom. :)

My photoshopping typically involves removing things from the image or fixing big problems that I didn't see when composing the shot. (Like the backdrop failing to reach the edge of the frame...or people somehow ending up in the frame that aren't suPposed to be there.)

We are fortunate to have a 24 hour coffee shop nearby for late nights of studying/blogging!

My house isn't spotlessly clean and could probably use a wipedown of walls, floors swept, and the works like that. However it is clean...enough? Still I enjoy cleaning it up and straightening things up. I just can never seem to find the energy to do the spotlessly clean look. Please lend me some of your energy!

Your photoshop talents sound envious! I've never really used photoshop to edit my photos after I found Lightroom. I've found that it just flows better with what I like to do. Have you ever tried it out?

Last but not least I'm a bit jealous of your coffee shop hangout. During our babymoon we went to Barnes and Noble where people were hanging out in the connected Starbucks with their laptops and I thought it was both cliche and nifty at the same time. Who wouldn't want to relax with a nice cup of tea or coffee and just fiddle around?

I do understand about being lazy, there are days were I don't want to do anything but to veg in front of the tv. But I make myself use the treadmill for an hour and I find it helps me unwind better then just vegging and I'm also getting in shape.. Just book time for yourself and you will make going to the gym a good habit.

At least you have lights on your bike, I see a lot of people who don't and they are the ones riding when it's dark out :( Thankfully no one took your bike or anything off the bike ..

I love this. Our house is relatively small, so my motto is "we can't go out, so we go up!" Vertical storage ftw. :)

My opinion on this is probably not the norm, but I actually think that government should not recognize the difference between gay and straight marriages. Everyone should be in a sort of "domestic partnership" or "civil union" in the eyes of the government. After all, the concept of marriage came from religions and other world cultures - except in DOMA, marriage has never before been defined as "one man and one woman". This way, everyone still has the same rights, and the super-religious don't have to think that any gay people are actually "married", whether they are or not.

I completely understand the scary part. My city doesn't have a lot of bicycle infrastructure either, but some of the major roads do. The side streets aren't busy, so usually it's not a huge issue.

Hopefully cycling lanes will catch on, because for the less aggressive cyclist, they're a godsend.

You should make it a thing to go bowling some time. I think maybe your daughter might enjoy it. (I don't know how old she is though, lol)

I wasn't really hoping for anyone of them to win. Not really a football guy. I did, however, really enjoy some of the commercials. Jon Stamos getting headbutted was one of the best.

I wasn't really cheering for anyone. My husband was cheering for the patriots though. I spent my time equally criticizing both teams. =P
