Botanical photography has to be one of my favorite subjects. It’s hard to go wrong with the beauty and symmetry that nature has to offer. I’ve always been drawn to flowers and other vegetation so when I got my first DSLR it was no surprise that I tended to gravitate towards flowers. Botanical photography can be quite boring to some audiences because of how generic it can be – I try my best to liven the subject up, but at times it’s hard to be creative when photographing flowers.
