Quests, Cancer & Sleep

It seems like it has been a long time since I last blogged even though it hasn’t been. I think my messed up sleep schedule is causing me to lose track of the days — I went to bed at seven this morning, and woke up at four in the afternoon. (Evening?) I am working on remedying this problem but it isn’t something you can just solve overnight.

The reason why I stayed up so late last night is that I was playing World of Warcraft, questing and recruiting people to my guild. I am not going to let myself do this tonight though, I am going to bed as soon as I finish this blog entry. In fact, the only reason why I am even writing this entry is because I made a promise on Twitter that I was going to blog today, and somebody responded to it. I generally do what I say I am going to do, even if it is slightly delayed.

Levi’s father is sick with an advanced case of a rare form of cancer, and has just undergone surgery to remove some of the mass. He will soon need to start chemotherapy, though I don’t know what the time frame for that is. All I know is what Levi has told me, and I don’t remember all of the details. Levi called his father for the first time in a long time the other day to speak with him after he got the news. His father said that it was good to hear from him, and that it had been a long time. I don’t know for sure when the last time Levi and his father spoke, but I know that it had been years.

I don’t have a lot to say tonight, just that I am actually tired and I should take advantage of this as soon as possible. I usually like to write more than this, but sleep is prodding at me to venture off to bed.
