Interviews and the Future

Today I had an interview at a gorgeous apartment complex in Fife, Washington for a grounds position and I think it went really well. The woman who I interviewed with, and her maintenance supervisor seemed very interested in me during the interview. Towards the end of my interview she mentioned that she was going to forward my information to a friend of hers who works in another complex who she believes is looking for a leasing consultant. I was so happy to hear that she feels I would be a great candidate for a leasing position, as that was the position I was looking for when I initially applied for the grounds position. Even better, I am floored that a woman who runs such a beautiful complex feels that I am capable of the job! Words can not really express how happy I am right now.

I feel that the changes that are happening in my life right now are exactly what I need to grow. At my current job, I feel like my customer service skills aren’t being utilized to their full extent. I think that as a leasing consultant I will be better able to make a positive change in not only my own life, but the lives of my clients as well. Furthermore, I really love the idea of a more professional work environment.Let’s just hope that this all works out for me!

Other than this little update, I don’t have a lot of things to talk about right now! School is going wonderfully. I am doing so well in microbiology that I think I am going to walk out of the class with a 4.0 GPA at the end of the quarter. On the weight loss side of things, I weighed in at 213.8 pounds this morning! It feels great to be so close to 210 pounds! Only 14 more pounds to go before I reach my weight loss goal, and it feels great! When I started this weight loss quest, I found the idea of losing 65 pounds daunting. Now, I recognize what I have done for myself, and am completely motivated to push myself even harder!

Overall, I think things are really going well for Levi and I right now. We’re moving our lives forward, and the future looks bright.
