Woah..

Apparently I suck at this blogging thing. It’s been over 10 days. This is terrible. I really need to work on getting in the habit of blogging again. Sometimes I just don’t have anything to write about.

What to say..

Spring quarter is about to come to a close. There is one more month of classes before it is over. After this quarter I have one class to take before I have to start applying for the nursing program. I am unsure how this is going to work out at this time. I am deciding not to take a summer quarter, so I can push my loan repayment back as far as possible. It is highly unlikely I will get accepted right away into nursing school, so I need to push back repayment as long as possible. After six months of no classes I need to start paying.

Speaking of classes, I had a lab practical in Anatomy and Physiology  which I didn’t do phenomenal on, I am a little disappointed. It isn’t too late to fix the problem – I need at least an 85 on the rest of my exams and a 45 on the next practical to pull off an 85%. I don’t think this will be an issue at all. My last exam I got an 80 on, I will just have to try that much harder I guess.

My new 365 day project is in full swing –  I’ve been doing well. I haven’t met any stumbling points yet, but I am quickly running out of ideas. Hopefully the nice weather comes so I won’t have to resort to beautiful pictures of my silverware or something.. I’ve been working with my flash gun for my last three shots – so far I am liking it, and it allows me to keep my shutter speed high when it is dark in the apartment. (Which is all the time..)

Speaking of flash, cameras, and photo projects – the shot above is of my new Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens. I love this thing. It is very sharp wide open and equally beautiful stopped down to f/8. I am very happy I made the purchase of this lens – it fills the gap between my 10-20 and my 50mm quite well. I feel like I have a complete camera kit again, something that I haven’t felt since upgrading to my 7D.

It looks like it is going to be a rainy weekend so hopefully I will be able to find something to shoot for this project. The more I think about these 365 daunting days, the more I wish I had started small with a 52 week project, or a 12 month project even! I don’t want to quite now that I have started, but I am unsure of whether or not I can finish it. I’m terrible!

Also, please remember that if you want to follow my project, you can bookmark this gallery page – Project 365 – Take 2; It automatically updates when I upload a new photo to Flickr!

Edit – Actually you can’t follow my project at that link. It’s dead.
