It has been a while.

So, it’s been a few days since I last blogged. I figured this would happen. Where to start. Since I last blogged I have decided to put my camera savings on hold. I will probably start up again later but for not I have decided that I do not want a new camera badly enough to justify the cost at the time being. Putting my camera savings on hold allowed me to make a purchase that I needed more then a new camera, that being a new computer.

Let’s start by saying that I really didn’t need a new computer, but now that I have it I am very happy with my decision to make the purchase. My MacBook suited me perfectly fine but it couldn’t exactly be considered a work horse for photo editing. Not only was it not very well suited for photo editing, with the small screen and all, but it was having some difficulty with the new World of Warcraft expansion patch. This was an issue for me because I went from having a computer that could run WoW perfectly fine, to one that was struggling on the lowest settings.

My new computer is an iMac. I opted for the higher end 21 inch base model. This machine is powerful enough to run WoW and edit photos very well. The larger screen helps as well. I also bought a new mouse and keyboard, as the iMac comes with wireless ones. Wireless is nice and all, but when in the middle of a raid a keyboard should not suddenly turn off. It is kind of a big deal.

In other news, Thanksgiving number one went well and my family will be doing Thanksgiving number two tomorrow. I baked two pies for the occasion and I hope they taste good. I decided to make and apple and a pumpkin pie. I’ve never made an apple pie before, and the pumpkin pie I made for Thanksgiving one was missing sugar – oops. This pumpkin pie was made correctly though, I won’t make that awful mistake twice.

I am excited to spend some time with my family tomorrow, today we did some christmas shopping and are mostly done. I am excited for the holidays. I know everyone else is as well.
