My lip hurts..

I don’t know what I did today, but sometime between waking up and the present time I managed to get a cut on my lip. It isn’t very big, I only noticed it because I noticed it bleeding when I scratched my lip. It is about the size of a paper cut, which is unfortunate considering how irritating paper cuts are. I honestly considered putting a bandage on it when I noticed. Good thing I didn’t bleed to death.

Today I had an Anatomy exam. I feel like I did okay but I could have done better. I know I will still pass the class with a decent grade so I am not worried about that either. There were a few questions about the lymphatic system that I looked at and quickly looked away. I know for sure I got the first two correct, that is something right?

In Psychology, I am struggling to remember my school work. It would seem that having an online class is problematic when one has decided to purchase the electronic version of the book instead of the physical copy. I saved tons of money but not having the book available to me to remind me that I have the class has been a big issue. Maybe if I could load the book onto my Nook it wouldn’t be half bad, but since this book isn’t compatible I will simply have to remember to do it.

Speaking of books, I just finished reading The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Overall the book was excellent. I found myself not being able to put it down towards the end. The plot was extremely thick, and at times I felt so into the story that I would panic when the situations would get a little hairy. I was pretty sad when it ended the way it did, but I would recommend the book to anyone, except for my mother who would most like find it weird. I have started reading The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, I am hoping the change of tone will be refreshing after the emotional roller coaster that the Atwood novel put me through.

In other news, I’ve decided to use a new template for the blog, I wanted to try something new, and I really like how this one turned out. It isn’t anything special, just a standard free template which I usually use. There was once a time when I might have created something myself, but I hardly see the point in that when there are plenty of free templates out there that are of a much higher quality than anything my dated knowledge and skills could ever dream of producing. (And I am lazy..) I like the colors of this one. I had wanted to use it before but I wasn’t sure how to customize it, but now that I have figured it out I am quite happy. I like the Flickr, and Twitter integration, which are two things I will hopefully to continue to update. I am pretty busy most of the time, so we will see how that goes.

Dentist tomorrow…boo.
